First Dance Class!

For a few months now Emery has been fascinated by ballet and dancing. Once of the main reasons we took the kids to see The Nutcracker was so Emery could see what ballerinas look like in real life. Taking her to the show only intensified her interest, so we figured it was time to look into a dance class! To be fair, we decided to send both kids to the dance class to see if they like it. At first they were both a little bit hesitant, but after a while they warmed up to it. Anderson especially seemed to like it, although Emery is the one who can't stop talking about how much fun she had! We are also trying out a soccer class tomorrow, and at the end of this week we'll ask them which one they want to continue. I'm pretty sure I can guess which ones, considering Emery is already saying she wants to go back to ballet class and Anderson says he wants to play with the soccer ball. Oh well, no one could ever accuse me of "genderizing" my kids! Nature vs. Nurture, baby!
