Halloween!

When I picked the kids up from school today it was very obvious that Anderson had a fever. Remember last year when Emery was sick on Halloween? I could not believe it was going to be the second year in a row where one of my kids missed out on the fun! When we got home from school I took his temp and sure enough, 102.1. I gave him some meds and sent him to bed. All afternoon he was clingy and mopey and kept saying he wanted to stay home instead of going trick or treating. At about 5, when it was time to get in their costumes and go over to avo's house, daddy came home and all of a sudden he got his second wind! He was ready to go and thankfully they both ended up being able to enjoy the fun. Anderson spent most of his trick or treating time chasing after Amelia, while Emery was happy to lag behind while being pulled in the wagon. She insisted on riding in it even between two houses! Silly girl! It was a fun night, but I am tired! Here are the pictures to tell the story:
