Random Stories

- Sometimes I feel bad for the kids because they are twins, but mostly we think they are so lucky to have each other! They always have someone to play with, a partner in crime, someone to hug them when we aren't there, and another (although miniature) person taking care of them (bringing them snacks etc.) Today we took the kids to the park and they took turns standing at the bottom of the slide and yelling "BOO!" as the other one came down the slide. Then they would both laugh and laugh.

- I'm not sure they have their own language, but there are many times during the day when I can't quite understand one of them and their sibling will help me by telling me what the other one is asking for. They understand each others words better than we do.

- The kids are major talkers (have been for months) and their pronunciation is getting better and better. It definitely makes me sad when they stop saying it the "Emery" or "Anderson" way and start saying it the "right" way. I miss the way Anderson used to say "schni schnack" when he wanted a snack (we call it a "snacky snack"). I'll really miss when Emery doesn't say "naken" for "naked" and "blanken" for "blanket." Do we have to correct them?! It's so darn cute when Emery says "I'm naken!"

- Eric was about to leave for work one day this week and as he was about to walk out Anderson ran out of our room and yelled "Wait! Meet Daddy lunch?" down to him. It was soooo cute!

- The kids are loving school. Emery cried the first day at drop off, but since then they have said "bye mom" and walked right in the door. I'm so glad they like their class, but I also feel like "well, ok, bye." At least I make them give me kisses before they go play with their toys. They are so over me ;)
